Mackenzie (Toronto)
Who is Mackenzie?
Mackenzie was born and raised inside Toronto’s city limits. With a photographer father and model mother, fashion courses through her blood. As a child, Mackenzie wore feathered headdresses to kindergarten class, doodled logos on her binders and spent hours looking through books on Brassai, Penn and Arbus. There was no question the fashion world was where Mackenzie was meant to be.
Today, an avid blogger, Mackenzie studies Fashion Communication at Ryerson University and interns at both a boutique graphic design firm and the event-planning company responsible for the birth of the “Art of Fashion”. She is excited to be studying abroad beginning in January 2010, at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, in the Netherlands.
